Terms of Service

Effective date: October 18, 2026 · applies to all engagements commissioned on or after this date.

1. What SuppliersVet is

SuppliersVet is an independent information service. We research, compile and interpret information from officially published public sources — government corporate registries, court records, enforcement and dishonesty blacklists, regulator penalty disclosures, and other openly available materials — and deliver written reports in English.

SuppliersVet is not a law firm, a credit rating agency, a private investigation agency, an insurance provider, or a product inspection company. We do not provide legal, financial, tax, insurance or credit advice, and no attorney-client or fiduciary relationship is created by any engagement.

2. Scope of any engagement

Each engagement covers only the service and scope described on its service page at the time of ordering (No. 01 Supplier Shortlist, No. 02 Single Supplier Verification, and the No. 03 / No. 04 add-ons). Research is performed on the company or companies named in your brief only. Anything outside the stated scope — contacting the supplier, negotiating on your behalf, quality inspection, continuing monitoring — is not included.

Reports state findings as of the research date. Registries, dockets and penalty records change; we do not monitor a company after delivery.

3. Ordering, brief and delivery

• An engagement begins when payment is received and your structured brief is complete. Incomplete briefs pause the delivery clock until resolved.
• Delivery timelines (1–2 business days for No. 02, 3–5 for No. 01, stated increments for add-ons) run in business days from brief completion, excluding Chinese and US public holidays.
• Reports are delivered by email as PDF, in English. Company names are given in English translation and original Chinese.

4. Fees and taxes

Prices are as published on the service pages and are charged in USD through our payment processor. The processor, not SuppliersVet, handles payment data. Applicable taxes, if any, are the buyer’s responsibility.

5. Refunds

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

6. Acceptable use

You may use reports for your own internal commercial decision-making. You may not: resell, publish, or redistribute reports or their contents; use them to make decisions about individuals (e.g. employment, tenancy, consumer credit); represent a report as a legal opinion, audit, or certification; or present SuppliersVet as having verified product quality.

7. Limitations and disclaimer

• Reports are compiled from public sources believed reliable, but we do not warrant their completeness or continued accuracy. Records may be delayed, incomplete, or amended after the research date.
• The verdict grades (“Cleared”, “Cautions”, “Adverse”) are editorial conclusions drawn from public records as of the research date, not certifications, guarantees, or predictions of any company’s future behavior or solvency.
• To the maximum extent permitted by law, SuppliersVet’s total liability arising from any engagement is limited to the fee paid for that engagement. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits, lost goods, or lost deposits.
• Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

8. Disputes

If you believe a report contains a factual error, contact [email protected] within 14 days of delivery with specifics. We will re-check the cited sources and, where a material error is confirmed, issue a corrected report at no charge. Please contact us before initiating any chargeback; see the Refund Policy.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms; the effective date above will change, and the version in force at the time of your order governs that engagement.
